Thorne Mcintosh- Owner
Growing up Thorne was fueled by the approval of his older brother and his hard working family members. He was lucky to have a twin sister as a sidekick. From the building blocks that his parents instilled in him he gained hard work from his father and care from his mother. In his youth he was small in stature, however, he made up for this in character and heart, becoming the crazy kid with a passion for competition and people!

He believes anything worth doing is worth overdoing. Due to this he will be up all night breaking down the simplest of a process to make it better, then complain the next morning saying he is tired. His passion for competition led him to play collegiate basketball after his 3 years at Musselman High school. His favorite achievement there he says is meeting his wife Karalyn. Shortly after graduating at the University of Valley Forge he joined the West Virginia Army National Guard. Assigned to a Medical Evacuation Uh-60 Blackhawk company who he deployed with in 2020-21.

Thorne still carries this desire to be the best and bring out the best in those around him to this day. With his role in Top Gun Sealcoating you will quickly see that he is dedicated to the purpose of the business, as well as the customers relationship we establish on each and every job. You’ll spot Thorne by his abnormally tall and slender frame walking to greet you with a smile and a firm handshake. He will probably be singing some song and dancing as he works that has direct correlation. Soon after the job he will be complaining that he is hungry as his high metabolism keeps him wanting food 24/7.

Thorne and his growing family reside in West Virginia where he enjoys the blessings of fatherhood. Calling Berkeley County home for Thorne has been something he has known now for 30 years and he wouldn’t change it for the world.

Shea LaRose dreams of living in a world filled with endless hunting seasons, homemade vodka sauce, Long days with his family and other's success stories.

Shea spent the early years of his life living in Upstate New York. He was lucky enough to grace the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia in middle school when his family relocated for his father’s career. Shortly after this move, he met his future business partner and long time best friend, Jake Jenkins. The rest, they say, is history and he couldn’t imagine living anywhere else.

During high school, Shea spent most of his time playing baseball, hunting and spending time with friends. Upon graduation he made the selfless decision to serve his country. He served as a Military Police Officer in the West Virginia National Guard for 8 years. He puts 110% into everything he does and it shows in all the things he has accomplished thus far.

Family and friends mean absolutely everything to Shea, so you can guarantee when you come across him, you’ll be treated with the same respect. If you’re looking for a top of the line sealed driveway and some small talk, there’s not much this guy doesn’t know at least a little bit about! He strives to maintain the highest standards and relationships with each and every client so you too may become a part of the Top Gun family. When Shea isn’t working you can probably find him enjoying a beer with friends or spending time with his family, Amy and Casey.

My name is Jake Jenkins and I am one- third of the piece of pie that runs Top Gun Sealcoating. My passion in life is first and foremost my family. I have an amazing wife Kendon and 2 beautiful children that drive every thing that I do and make me more motivated than ever to help people and make a difference in their lives.

My passion is to bring sales, technology and professionalism to a typically unprofessional Industry, asphalt maintenance. I am committed to making your experience with our company one that is memorable, easy, and different than anything that you’ve experienced with other contractors.
